In reality, I’ll be wearing a black long sleeved dress, black tights and black flats, because that’s our concert attire. But the black long sleeved dress on Polyvore had one of those ugly price tags next to it so I went with the cuter, and less realistic, no-sleeved dress. Seriously, though, how CUTE is that dress? And it’s supposed to be cold and rainy again, so I’ll need my trusty black coat so I don’t freeze at the reception!
You’ll be happy to know I am no longer the crazy crazy on St. Patrick’s Day. It’s already 2 p.m. and I have not had even one drink — If I had this blog years ago I’d be typing gibberish on my 3rd 40 of Guinness by now!
I’m headed out to a pub in an hour to join the crowds. Wearing a green long sleeve shirt though I would LOVE to wear a dress like the one above. It’s raining outside and I’ve got a little sore throat so I’m takin’ it easy and staying warm instead of being cute and fashionable.
OK Folks, I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of leopard print shoes for a really long time.
I see the cutest shoes on other people but all the shoes I saw out in stores looked cheap or trashy or cost more than $100. Sometimes all three.
And then… I stopped in three shoe stores one day and at Target I found adorable, comfortable leopard print flats that are not too expensive! I bought the same shoes in red 🙂 You might remember those from this other post when I hung out in the coffee shop all morning when my meeting got cancelled.
I also recently got really, really cute wedges that were a belated Christmas present after much sending back and forth with Zappos.com. The Zappos people were super nice, btw. You can see those on this post where I wore them ALL DAY and to a 2-hour concert rehearsal where I was standing most of the time. By the time I got home I practically had to peel the darn things off my feet.
So these leopard print shoes are flats and they don’t give my feet blisters, so it’s really a win for everyone. 🙂
