From my wonderful boyfriend, for no particular reason 🙂
And sent it in an envelope to Pantene Beautiful Lengths to be used for a wig.
It was a HUGE change, but I was ready. I’d been complaining about the length for so long, at least a cut was past due. Even without a trim for 1.5 years I still had no split ends! Yay.
So I went to a friend of a friend at a salon nearish my office and she snipped off 9.5 inches of hair and made me pretty again.
See for yourself:
Sorry for the lack of posting… it’s been a busy month, and I haven’t been at a computer very often even to check email!
Let’s get caught up.
Last weekend was spent at the Renaissance Faire! With costumes! And beer! And looking at other people’s costumes!
There’s also been a lot of working, and rehearsals (I’m singing The Creation again in May!), eating and watching Smash!
I’d like to promise I’ll be updating more, but …
Since Instagram created an Android app, I’ve been smitten. I love the feed of friends’ photos. I love the fun photos on the popular feed and I enjoy the filters.
It’s especially fun to add old photos from my phone or camera to the app.
This is my week, by Instagram.

1. Go Visit Hawaii. I’d love to! Thought you’d never
Mmm, look at that clear blue water. I think this picture says it all. Plus, the site has fun facts, tips for travel and loads of good information for visitors.
And this thing… I don’t know what it is or what it’s supposed to taste like. Those dark spots look a little like hibernating bugs… but I think I might give it a lick. As long as you try it first.
3. Aim for Awesome. With a blog title like that, how can you go wrong? This blog is about life in Hawaii, travel to Hawaii and things to do while you’re in Hawaii. He’s even written about moving to Hawaii, so when you’re ready to pack up and live the good life you’ve got steps to follow.
And oh my gosh, these pictures…
